高橋沙也葉
京都大学大学院 人間・環境学研究科博士後期課程およびデューク大学大学院美術史・表象文化学科博士後期課程に在籍中。1960年代以降の彫刻に焦点を当て、アメリカと日本のアートシーンの交差を研究している。関心のあるトピックはモニュメント、冷戦と抽象表現、記憶形成、ジェンダー化された労働、記録と保存、産業主義、エコロジーをめぐる政治性など。
筑波大学 芸術専門学群芸術学専攻に在籍後、2017年には官民協働海外留学支援制度でカリフォルニア州立大学ロングビーチ校に交換留学を行ったほか、USCパシフィックアジア美術館（パサデナ市）でコレクション／学芸のインターンを務めた。2020年4月に京都大学大学院に進学後は、2022年3月まで国立国際美術館でインターンシップを行う。2022年3月に京都大学大学院 人間・環境学研究科博士前期課程を修了。2022年4月より独立行政法人日本学術振興会特別研究員（DC1）。同年7月より一年間、デューク大学 アジア・太平洋センター 客員研究員として研究滞在を行う。2024年8月よりデューク大学大学院 美術史・表象文化学科博士後期課程に進学。

Sayaha Takahashi
Sayaha Takahashi is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Art, Art History & Visual Studies at Duke University and is currently on leave from the Ph.D. program at Kyoto University. Her research addresses the politics of monuments, abstraction, memory-making, gendered labor, documentation and preservation, industrialism, and ecology, with a focus on post-war Japanese artists and the intersections between Japanese and American art worlds.
She earned her B.A. from the University of Tsukuba, graduating with the Grand Prize for Outstanding Achievement in the Undergraduate School. During her studies she spent an academic year at California State University, Long Beach, with support from Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). She entered the M.A. program at Kyoto University in April 2020 and completed her degree in March 2022. She has held curatorial internships at the USC Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena and the National Museum of Art, Osaka.
Her research has been funded by fellowships from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, the Toshiaki Ogasawara Memorial Foundation, the Ueno Chizuko Foundation, and other sources.
